I was so saddened to come across this story of Leonid Milkin and the slaying of his family. Leonid is an Army reservist deployed in Iraq when his family was brutally massacred by a neighbor who just moved in a few weeks before. Leonid lost his young wife, sister-in-law and two very young sons, one being only 3 years old. Please say a prayer for him and his family and friends.
No, it’s not too boring. I remember a funny Simpsons episode when Homer (of all people) started a blog and won the Pulitzer prize (by dishing out everything he overhears, he became an animated Woodward and Bernstein).
You can do two things with this blog, strike out for the wild blue yonder and write about something totally out of anyone’s experience (making it your own) or dive into your work, your loves and your other obssessions, giving us an ultra deep sonograph of your mind. It’s your choice, and I for one would be interested in what you have to post these next few months.
I don’t have a blog, but I’ve been posting comments at http://www.imdb.com and http://www.aintitcool.com and that’s the closest I’ve come to a blog. Yet.
